SMART welcomes Michael Adjemian

Our projects

Michael Adjemian, professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Georgia, joins SMART for a 3-week stay.

During his visit, Michael Adjemian will be working in particular with Alexandre Gohin and Guillaume Bagnarosa on the quality of public information in agriculture. The aim is to study how announcements made by various government agencies, such as the USDA, can affect the expectations of economic agents, particularly farmers, and thus have an impact on their decisions to invest or not in new projects, or to hedge or not against certain sources of uncertainty.
