Farmers' income in France

Our appearances

The public session of the Académie d'Agriculture de France on this Wednesday, May 7, 2025 is dedicated to “Farmers' incomes in France: trends, dispersion and prospects”.

Laurent Piet and Vincent Chatellier will speak on “What do we mean by farm income?” and on “Economic performance and farm income dispersion”, respectively. Organized by sections 4 and 10 of the Académie in partnership with the Société Française d'Économie Rurale (SFER), and dedicated to the memory of Lucien Bourgeois, this session will also feature contributions from Jean-Philippe Boussemart (Lille University), Benoit Mouchard (CERFrance Normandie-Ouest) and François Purseigle (INP Toulouse), following an introduction by Thierry Pouch (Chambres d'Agriculture de France). It will be concluded by Jean-Marie Séronie.
