Written by a team of nine scientists from different backgrounds, all members of the scientific and monitoring board of the National Research and Innovation Program (PNRI) on solutions for controlling aphids and yellowing in sugar beets, including Alexandre Gohin, the article aims to take stock of the PNRI four years after its implementation, at a time when the proposal for an exemption from the use of acetamiprid under the so-called “Duplomb” Law was widely debated and contested during the summer of 2025, only to be ultimately censured by the French Constitutional Council.
