International Trade and Water Management in Agriculture: The Case of Tunisia

This thesis examines whether border trade policies can contribute to sustainable agricultural water management in Tunisia. Using a general equilibrium model, the study will analyse how international markets influence irrigation practices, taking into account the country's geographical and hydrological diversity. The aim is to test the effectiveness of trade policies in regulating the use of water resources and their impact on food sovereignty.
