In this book, which draws on recent research projects, Claire Etrillard demonstrates how —at the intersection of law, ecology, and public policy— the surrounding areas of transportation infrastructure for people, goods or energy (roads, railways, waterways, and canals, as well as high-voltage power lines), can help preserve biodiversity through maintenance practices such as late mowing or eco-grazing, implemented in collaboration with local stakeholders.
