Climate change, agriculture and the quality of institutions

Climate variability is the main cause of major fluctuations in agricultural production, especially in developing countries. The risks generated by climate shocks may lie in the interaction between three poles: climate, agricultural production and water resource management. The effectiveness of the latter is part of climate change adaptation policies that depend on the institutional context.
Our aim is therefore to answer the following question:
"What is the importance of institutional quality in a context of climate change for the development of the agricultural sector and the efficient and sustainable management of water resources?
